Week3a - Aesthetics, Design, and Branding

MGBD Parts (roverp6cars.com)

I was not a fan of this design. I find it very cluttered and hard to read. All the links on the left have the same green car and all caps' locks, red letters. You can click on just about anything. It will bring you to the correct page, but the setup is a little different. Unless you know these cars, this is a difficult website to navigate.

Atari - Best Electronics Home (best-electronics-ca.com)
I am not a fan of this website setup. There are no pictures, no backgrounds, just plain. This is another website that unless you are a fan, you're not sure what to do. There are links throughout the website that bring you to another page, but it is all just plain.

NPS.gov Homepage (U.S. National Park Service)
The National Park website has a great setup. The index page is clean and easy to use. Pick a state, find a park. The bottom part of the page has different articles to read. I picked a state (Nebraska), and it gave me all the historical parks and trails in Nebraska and some other states too. I then clicked the Agate Fossil Beds located in Harrison, NE. This brought you to a page with information about fossils and much more. Overall this is an easy to use website.

Headhunter Hairstyling | Pensacola, FL
This was a very easy to use website. The colors were eye-catching but not overpowering. This has beach vibes. All the information you could need was just a click away. I didn't have to search for anything. It was all right where it needed to be. The only thing that I would do differently is the stylists page should have some sort of background that reflects the business and the stylists themselves.

  1. Hi Amy!

We both picked the same websites that showed they needed a lot of improvement. We also said very similar things about these websites. I didn't look into the NPS website but you made it seem like a professionally made website from what you wrote. Nice Job!
